If you want to learn how to compose for an orchestra, this video is a golden resource for you, because I took the time to synchronize a real recording of Beethoven's 5th Symphony to the sheet music. No only do I point out how certain instruments sound when played together to create certain "colors", but I also point out how different dynamics produce different textures. When we get to the actual recording, you will notice that this is a progressive video. The "playbar", which acts as a metronome, is present at all times and highly accurate. But as we move along with the music, I add more detail and highlight aspects of this composition that I felt were interesting. ✅ Subscribe if you want the power and accessibility Music Jotter can bring via the web: /@ musicjotter 0:00 I conducted a symphony! 0:36 Why is a conductor needed? 1:06 Breaking down the instruments 2:21 Dynamics and articulations of a score 3:36 Listening tip 3:59 Full Synced Recording
