Sony has announced the first digital note taking device with Color E INK! This the first product to use E INK Kaleido 2.5, which has the color filter array being closer to the e-paper display, resulting in deeper and richer colors. Sony is defining what e-notes are capable of, providing support for most WACOM pens, and just not their proprietary ones. It also has a high version of Android and a front-it display. @JrIcify3 years ago This looks like some of the earliest full color magazines. I like to compare eink to advances in printing technology instead of screens, so I'd love to have the equivalent of 1970s comic books within the next few versions. We might actually get it by the looks of this. ... 15

I'm quite happy with the reMarkable 2, but I do like to read magazines and I kinda miss having color then.

i am an artist and comic great so i use need it for reading high res comics and images as well as drawing and painting ...

Awesome! A major brand using colour e-paper! 😃
As far as I know, their Digital Paper series is aimed at business use, which could mean:
- Ability to highlight and annotate in different colours, which the user could use to represent different categories of notes
- Viewing graphics (graphs, pie charts, drawings, etc) in colour, instead of figuring out which shade of grey is which colour ... 14
