Easiest homemade pizza sauce from the scratch. Made from fresh tomatoes.
Ingredients:
Butter: 1 Tbspn
Fresh Tomatoes: 7 to 8 Medium sized
Garlic: 7 to 8 cloves
Corn Flour: 1 Tbspn
Sugar: 1 Tbsp
Salt: As Required
Red Chili Power: 1 Tsp
Pepper Powder: 1 Tbsp
Dried Herbs: 2 Tbsp
Instructions:
Wash and Dice the tomatoes.
Puree the tomatoes in a blender without adding water.
Mince or Chop the garlic cloves finely.
Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp butter. Once the butter is melted add the chopped garlic and saute for a minute.
Pour the tomato puree and mix well. Let the mixture cook for 10 mins on low flame.
To thicken the sauce we use corn flour.
Take 1 tbsp corn flour in a bowl and add 1/2 cup of the hot tomato puree. Mix well and pour it back to the simmering tomato puree mixture.
Add sugar, Salt and red chili powder, mix well and let it cook for a minute.
Add pepper powder and dried herbs, mix well. Once the sauce reach the desired consistency, turn off the heat and allow the sauce to cool down.
Use it right away or transfer it to an airtight glass container and store in refrigerator.
