You inserted a Xbox 360/PC/ severely dirty damaged or scratched PS2 disc or a pirated game 5

@_maestroX6 years ago If this method DOES NOT work there is a 50/50 chance that neither
1. Your disc is broken/scratched/or full or dirt means the PS2 can't read it automatically triggers the Red Screen.
2. Not putting a proper Playstation or Playstation 2 disc. Putting your disc in reverse (Not showing the wallpaper of the disc's game.) will lead to neither damage your PS2 or the disc.
3.Putting an improper PS2 game disc. Putting ANY DISC on the PS2 will have several chances of the PS2 doing the RSOD.
( ° = Low chance
• = Medium Chance
○ = High Chance
● = Very High Chance
■ = 100% Chance )
• to ○: Pc Disc
○ to ● to ■: Xbox,Xbox 1 or Xbox 360 disc
■: Scratched/Damaged/Dirty PS2 game disc. ... 11

@joeydowen15822 years ago I had this problem, turns out the internal clock (time and date) just needed to be set. Obviously the CMOS battery had died.

Awhile ago i was trying to play Need for Speed: Underground on my PS2, when i insert the disc the "PlayStation 2" logo appears and a few seconds after the logo dissapears, it gave me a RSOD
Can anyone help me fix it 😭 ...
