Remove Background in 5 Seconds in Preview

You can quickly remove the background from your images on Mac with Preview for free. It works 90% of the time, but for the more complex images there are an additional 3 ways to remove backgrounds, all in Preview - a free application on all Mac computers. The first method takes 5 seconds to remove a background and works 90% of the time. Go to Tools -- Remove Backgrounds. Sometimes, you may have to convert a JPG image to PNG a format that supports transparency. The second method is by using the Rectangular or Eliptical Selection option. The third method uses the Instant Alpha tool, which is great for photos that the Remove Background tool couldn't do. Finally, the fourth method involves using two Lasso tools to isolate more of your subject for a more detailed selection.
