@k9charmander7643 years ago This woman is honestly so bright and this podcast is so much more than "just a podcast" if you understand what she talks about and have some context to her as a real life person. 260

@ushagadgil19634 years ago The line where she says You cry is the most emotional part 😭 of this episode. babies being called tit suckers made me laugh. and the way she told that we turn away from what we want once we get it from the world because of what we have gone through is so relatable. ... 120

@KPNMohlosana2 years ago As someone who has death anxiety, this has been the most reassuring conversation about life and death I've ever heard. "You cry" ever since that point of the video I've been crying, and I'm genuinely happy I did. So if you're reading this please just cry❤ ... 69

@zeo_loves3 months ago This came in my life 5 years after the sudden death of my mother. She was the closest thing to me, yet our relationship was strained tremendously. The last convo, I hubg up on her in frustration and last time I saw her I was angry with her… I heard this interview and felt as if she was speaking to me (I had boomeranged through shock, grief, mental breakdown, and rebirth) and I know she was speaking to me through this in some unfathomable yet realest and truest way. Her birthday is April 20. (Same as Duncan as told by his momma!) Thank you Duncan and Duncan’s mom. ... 3

@theboxingboy74223 weeks ago As someone who has also lost there mom watching this is always so emotional and knowing this was one of the last proper conversations he had with his mother before she passed just weeks later. Just makes you think that you need to spend time and talk to the people you love and get to know as much about them as possible ... 1

The "tit-biter" portion may very well be THE most salient point from the entire show. It explains SO MUCH about the world we live in. ...

@donkylefernandez46802 years ago His mom's ship is a reverse simulator or at least a very early version like a computer's ancestor. But it also appears in the simulation universe. Normally Clancy goes into the machine but it looks like a version of Clancy already in the simulation is going into the same area real Clancy goes before he's shot into a simulation... My theory is that the Clancy in the simulation his consciousness. There's more to that but I'll leave the rest to the imagination. ... 4

@brendenpischke60605 months ago Eh... depends how close you are to your parents.
I could argue that no one wanting you is worse than a loved one passing on. At least you know that person loved you to the end.
I'm suddenly reminded of the movie Hancock with Will Smith when he starts talking about his earliest memory. Waking up in the hospital.
"Gotta wonder though. What kind of bastard must I have been? That nobody was there to claim me. I mean, I know I'm not the most charming guy in the world, so I've been told, but... nobody?"

@Anadorado887 months ago How did Duncan think she had bone cancer? Poor dude was probably so dissociated from reality while recording this episode… interviewing your dying mother… he did just what his mother suggested… he looked right at death and asked for a lesson… it’s just so sad that it had to be his own mama ... 1
