@geneedits6176last year In my whole 5 years of brawl stars career the removal of boxes impacted me the most 889

@horridJlast year I think the thing that FINALLY stabbed the game in the chest was gears and then everything going down hill from there. But then during season 14/15 was when it came back to the light 1642
  • @
@SuperGeorhlast year I also feel like people have gotten more toxic, 90 percent of people in my game either use a thumbs down emote, or just throw the game on purpose 105
  • @
@spikegod3910last year I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I miss the simpler times 789

@dragshift4609last year Man I remember 3rd season,It was sooooo much fun. It had a unique brawler that was fun to play (even when it was bad) and every creator were trying to uncover starr park lore. I remember waking up and getting excited about how much progress the lore had made ... 641

@perry_da_chadlast year I started playing the game in late 2019 and when the pandemic striked, I played for hours with my friends and really enjoyed the game. Unfortunately though, with the October update I temporarily quit brawl stars because of the gears update. I had just brought almost all my brawlers to level 10 and, back then, I felt like I was blocked in front of an insurmountable wall. The game was more pay2win than ever and I just stopped caring about it for a while. But then, when the announced the gears' rework, I was immediately convinced that brawl stars was back on track, and I was right! Since then, they've been absolutely killing it with the updates, kind of revolutioning the game each time with interesting additions. I hope things will stay like this forever ... 300

@aloha5579last year The implementation of chromatic brawlers also made the game feel less special, i feel like the brawlers dont make sense and lack in terms of quality, we get new chromatics every season and they reduce in rarity making them less special to me, the removal of brawl boxes also felt like a stab in the back, even as a F2P ... 192

@shay-170last year The removal of chests is in my opinion was the worst thing they did, I remember the old chest system where you could stack chests and you would see these big 200 chest openings on youtube it was great, but then they changed it to the battle pass system and I was disappointed but I told my self "hey at least they havent removed chests from the game" and then they did exactly that. It was such an enjoyable part of the game, seeing a 7 openings on a mega box was so exiting or getting a brawler from a regular box just gave the game a source of excitement and all of your friends had different brawlers, but now the system just feels blank, you already know who you are about to get. ... 107
  • @
@dragon_apex1.8last year I feel like boxes being removed is the main thing that also made brawl stars kind of go down, since they were a big part of the game 32
  • @
@therealwaseemlast year Hey good work on the videos! Keep it up 13
  • @
@kidboy5689last year I mean... realistically it is different. Brawlers being added and the meta being changed has made the game more competitive. Before you know the best counter to everybrawler. Now with all the changes and different brawlers, it's much different. It's going to feel different because it is much different. ... 66

@sssniperwolfsbiggestfan1last year Tbh, the most fun I've ever had in brawl stars was in the first few months after I began playing it. Learning what all of the brawlers did as I went along (that was before the "try brawler" feature) and the excitement of getting a new brawler was what made the game actually fun. Unlocking new brawlers doesnt hit the same for me anymore and idk why. Also the game was a lot simpler back then which I perfer. ... 50

@pmahcgop6693last year As someone who was there since beta and also played with my brother quite alot, I agree that it does feel very different than before and I thinks it’s the competitiveness that changed. They kept adding more complexity which seems great if your fully in the brawl stars circle but as soon as you leave it’s tough to come back because there’s going to be some broken new guy your going to destroyed by and someone playing a long range control brawler (which there are many) that slows the game down and forces you to try your absolute hardest just for a win games quest. And with the “new broken brawler that wipes everything” that happened several times when I’ve tried returning after a long brake, with buster being a hilarious example of it where I’d see a buster on the enemy team and assume I’d lose and laugh off how absurd he was.
Also burnout, with daily quests it feels like a constant grind that doesn’t need to be there, sometimes I just wanna go as someone because I haven’t played them but instead I need to go as mr p in heist because that’s what the game says. You could ignore it but then you’ll have to go through more exhausting matches with brocks, emzs squeaks, and whatever the new guy is to try and make progress. One of the longest brakes I took was few months after Club League, not because I hated it, because I loved it, I was in a decent club and was assigned to with boxingChicken and supdawg, and we constantly won over and over 2/2 wins in club league for 3/3 days, we were unstoppable. But then they added club quests and there wasn’t that urgency and when supdawg completed none of his quests he was kicked. It became just be and Boxing Chicken and without the full group we both quickly burnt out and were no more. The only thing that got me to play again was the same that got me to play brawl stars for the first time, my brother, thank you for reading.
    Also
    Great vid keep it up.

@centraldeobservacoeslast year I think Brawl Stars feels strange, because it is nowadays so different than it was in global launch. I play Brawl since 2018, and I remember the old times... They were not better, but remarkable. 12
  • @
@The.Sketchylast year I started brawl in summer of 2019. And I must say, there never rlly were any major bad things (except gears maybe). Imo the game rlly hyped up again at season 14, cuz I actually left Brawl from season 9 till 13 cuz it didnt rlly catch me anymore, but for some reason as soon as season 14 arrived I came back equally active as I was in 2019/20. And for some reason many other players did a similar thing according to statistics ... 33

@horridJlast year Man I love me a good Muyo video. But I get it, I used to play all day every day for hours. But now a days it feels kinda “stale” I really wish I felt the same hype but it is still REALLY fun 👌 28
  • @
@geetoastylast year Everyone, I think I know the problem. You're blinded by the fact that when you first played the game, everything was new and cool, and playing the game for years has made all of you blinded by nostalgia for the "good old days" of when the game was new. This goes for every game. But in truth, the game is objectively better than it was before in every way. ... 40

@jedenp110 months ago I’ve loved this game until the removed the boxes, it’s so sad because u used to LOVE seeing the screen where you got a new brawler, the blue screen hyped me a LOT. Still love the game though hope they change it back 2

@BlxyStudlast year I’m so glad someone brought this up. I uploaded brawl stars content back then and I truly loved it. It was so fun and nothing could beat it. @quackanatorquackson996411 months ago Despite the new features, I have seen an increase in pay to win gameplay. As someone who basically played this game non stop for 3 and a half years, I have noticed that since Brawl Stars sponsored Mr. Beast, the game developers took advantage of the new found popularity, resulting in the game making more money with faster and larger updates. The problem arises with the fact that updates are so frequent that unless you buy gems, you can’t get a brawler before the next one comes out. In addition, you can’t choose which brawler you want, meaning if you want a certain brawler, you just have to wait until you finally are able to start unlocking them. The meta also makes it so that all of the recent characters shit on all the older ones. The top 10 highest win rate brawlers almost all came out in the past year, and they are literally just better versions of old brawlers. For example, Willow is just like Barley with her main attack, it is just harder to dodge and deals more damage. Her super is really annoying and removes one of the key mechanics of any game, making her miserable to go against. Also mods make it extremely hard to win unless you already have gears on that brawler, considering how much they buff your character, making power level matter way more than it used to, making any brawlers you just got get bullied by anyone with gears if you are power 1. Finally they nerfed dyna jump, which I am salty about. ... 3

@corphish6911 months ago Ima be honest i love brawl stars way more than it was way back when it was popular. Its just way more fun now 3
  • @
@johnnybernardlast year the game is in a good spot but tbh, i do miss those simpler days of brawl stars in 2019 and 2020.
the part about being able to grind through the pandemic hits different since that's exactly what i did as well.

@joaopedrovieira4881last year I think one thing they can stop at least one season is: do not add one or two new Brawlers. Brawl Stars have a lot of brawlers and being honest, nowadays we see more people using the same brawler in matches like showdown and there's a lot of brawlers who are forgotten like shelly, I remember in 2019/2020 a lot of people using shelly because she's strong. They could at least do a season without adding a new brawler ... 3

@beanburrito4405last year Nothing changed, really. The game has undergone a slow metamorphosis for its entire lifespan. Brawl Stars started “feeling different” for me with the Landscape update in Beta (since I’m a day 1 player), but when excluding the drastic Beta updates, I think the game really began feeling different was when Gadgets were introduced. The point that the game starts feeling different is different for everyone, and it has nothing to do with the updates and everything to do with how long you’ve played and how much the game has changed in the interim ... 8
  • @
@arrow7845last year Man I wish the game dosnt become too complex. Yes more game mechanics and brawlers = more content , but i think if this trend continues it will become more about quantity rather than quality. Still I really love how the game has evolved from a portrait 3v3 game to what it is today. ... 9
  • @
@BRNOOB_7 months ago I started playing braw stars around when bibi was released. I got addicted to the game quick. I was loving it but after gadgets were introduced I was slowly getting tired of this game (idk why) then when they added brawl pass, I just played for few days and stopped playing the game. In my opinion, the brawl pass update stopped me from playing the game, I didn't like that update. After that I often used to install and uninstall the game to check out what's happening in the game. Recently I installed again and saw realized that they removed brawl boxes too! I miss those days when I used to gain tokens to gather braw boxes :(
Tbh I used to love brawl boxes despite the annoyance of not getting anything for long time... Those days are still nostalgic to me. Brawl Stars is not the same now... For me it's not as exciting as it was. I miss the old brawl stars. I used to follow every updates braw stars on every site. I used to do fanarts too! (Braw stars had a good fanart community back then, idk how is it now...) ❤
These are just my personal opinions and memories

@elka7823last year Its trash too many brawlers that are absolutely op and no skill and literally counter every old school brawler for the most part which is so boring thats why i left they try to introduce new interactions that are simply not made for brawl stars ... 3

@UraniumPlushie._.11 months ago I still remember playing brawl stars with my friend all the time but then we stopped for a bit and then we completely quit because they removed boxes. That ruined the joy of opening a box and waiting if we got a brawler, like one time my friend opened a basic box and got leon and we were both super happy but brawl is not fun for us anymore unfortunately. ... 1
  • @
@Ryan_Ryan82last year Got my subscription bro...U r a gud youtuber I guess...U will surely surpass Ray, and Kairos 1
  • @
@Forty3813last year As an old, 2019, player, I personally think that the most gamechanging feature was the New PowerPoint and star power/gadget system.
Before you actually had to work a lot more towards maxing certain brawlers, whereas today, you can hyperfocus your energy into maxing a specific one out along with the pretty much weekly events that give out tons of resources
Another thing are the starpowers. You can now buy any starpower whenever you want, instead od having to wait weeks for a shop offer.
This honestly made the game very underwhelming and it doesn't feel as rewarding as it used to.
This is coming from a free to play user that had fully maxed their account before level 11 was added.
Another factor would be the removal od boxes, ergo the different level up progression, But it's not worth talking about how much we miss those at this point..
